The cutest pair of orphan twins are rapidly growing up at Moonlit Sanctuary in Pearcedale. Sukari and her sister Patch are Sugar Gliders who were orphaned when their mother died while they were still in her pouch. Keepers had to raise the pair by hand, feeding them with a syringe rather than the conventional bottle.
As both of them have passed the critical weight of 80 grams they have moved onto solid food and are growing well.
Sukari and Patch will stay at Moonlit Sanctuary and help to educate future generations of school children in the Moonlit Sanctuary School programs.
