**FOR DEADLINE**The Casey Liquor Accord which consists of licensees from across Casey, Casey Council and Victoria Police has been examining and implementing strategies over the past 18 months to improve the safety in and around licensed premises and reduce the impact of alcohol related harm. The Accord has recently developed and implemented an initiative which sees patrons who participate in anti social behaviour in or around licensed premises banned from all licensed premises across Casey. The accord sees the banning process used mostly at light night venues, so in short if you want to muck up at one night club don’t think that the night club up the road will let you in next week. Patrons can be banned for up to two years and will need to demonstrate to the Accord that they have addressed their issues before being accepted back into any licensed premises.

Recently the Casey Liquor Accord banned six patrons for various indiscretions, they were banned for various timeframes from one month up to one year. Berwick Inn is one of all venues across Casey involved with the Accord. Pic of staff with Police inspector Wayne Viney.
