bring your boots! VicRoads and DSE want to put a dirty big highway through the middle of half a dozen Officer businesses rather than through a vacant paddock, to protect some rare native vegetation. To the naked eye it just looks like a bunch of blackberries and tea tree. Unfortunately the property owner, Kevin Gilbert, died last week. Can we get a picture of Rob and other progress association members at the sight, one of them inspecting the maps, and a couple of the weeds? Will be a long-running issue in the paper so a few different pics would be appreciated. I’m coming as well.
